Information Request

We have tried to assemble as much information as we could in one place. This has been one of the more difficult sections of the web page simply because there is a constant change in the knowledge base. No sooner was a section finished then another had to be revised. Initially all the information was on one continuous page so you would click the section you wanted, and the page would drop down to that location. This made correcting or changing anything too time consuming to be practical. This design allows us to change one section without affecting the others. It is much easier to edit. The only drawback is that you must enter your e-mail address so the information can be delivered to you, directly. In most cases you are getting the latest from the dental world.

Controversies exist in every profession. We have tried to combine both sides in as coherent a presentation as possible. Some controversies are nothing more that some stubborn old men banging their egos together. However, from time to time we run into a controversy that this clinician deems ludicrous. For example: mercury/silver fillings. A large number of dentists including the ADA and the Insurance Companies, say they are just fine... yet it is illegal for the mercury to be flushed down the commode. How can anyone say that it is OK for the mercury to be placed in your mouth, but not in the sewer?
